Dr. Kristina Javier was born and raised in Queens, New York. She attended Marymount College, now known as Fordham University, in Tarrytown, New York for her Bachelors of Science in 2001. Following college, She took some time to do research for breast cancer patients and their families.
Dr. Javier later attended State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York for medical school. It was there that she developed a special interest in the medical care of adolescents, solidifying her interest in general pediatrics. Upon graduation in 2007, she came to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital to complete her pediatric residency. Right after completing her residency, She joined Tree House Pediatrics in 2010.
She was inspired to pursue medicine by her first boss, an OB/GYN, to become a doctor at the age of 15. She taught her that any goal could be reached with dedication, persistence, and passion for the well being of others. Dr. Javier has always loved working with children, adolescents and their families, making pediatrics a perfect fit.
She lives in the Lake Nona area with her husband and daughter. Dr. Javier speaks fluent Spanish. In her spare time,she enjoys volunteering at her daughter's school. She also likes to discover traditional home-cooked recipes with a new healthy twist. On sunny days, you can find her exploring around town.
